('osed' included in first page of letter) it was, so I declined takeing it, Bob got very man, without any Cause, he had a fuss with Trussell and Dorothy before he loft, he started with two wagons last wednesday, Fritz let him have two old Plugs that he could not sell here at any price. Chas Shoech started with them, and when he got to Albia sent them back, Bob is to sell or do the best he can with them. I thought like this if I sent the Claim to you, and Bob could not make it, I would rather some one else should sell him out than you. As I was passing the Daw Stocker place I noticed the crop [rased?] if it was put up and sold it would not all pay 200$ sent. I changed the Caim on Stocker & Rader from the Contract to a note payable Jany 1st 1885 with 8 per cent Int. they cannot pay any this fall. your Mother has been on a Visit to Muscateen, and now talks of going out to Blair about the [8th?] of Dec. Well how is the Cattle, the grass, the hay Crop, and things genrally all well write, write, write no more now from your Father &c SG Finney
