Blakesburg Ia Jany2, 1884 Mr Geo S Finney Little Nev. your letter of a late date came to hand in which you figure up bal. due on Rader & Stocker [a/c.?] $218.90= to Dec 31 1883- My statement shows as follows to wit Jany 1 1182 R & S [a/c.?] $200.00 Hay & Plowing taken out $16.50 Ch. to me 16.50 [Total line] 183.50 9 mos Int. 10 per c to sept 28/83 13.75 [Total line] 197.25 now add Hay & Plowing Ch. to me -16.15 [Total line] 213.40 the note carries the Int from sept 28/ to Jany 4.00 [Total line] $217.40 cr -5.00 [Total line] 212.40 amt to Jan 1st 1884 $213.62 1/2 I Paid road tax for 1882 3.52 Lime & sand for Chimny .75 Hauling log & Putting up flue .75 [Total line] $5.02 you will see from the above about how the ballance stand, true there is not much diferance, you will recollect in our settlement for the rent for 1881 Jo was
