Montana, about 4 miles from Livingston. we got a paper from there a short time ago giveing an account of Frank being there with three Pounds of gold dust which he sold for 8$ per oz the major goes out again some time next month. - Well we are haveing very bad weather now raining, and bad roads, hardly able to get around. - well Pleas Anderson has hes trial middle of next month the Grand Jury Indited him he has some Low down friends who will get him out of it if they can. Eddie [surname] has been here to buy Cattle, I took him to Albia, he wanted to buy 100 head 3 year old [stiers?] (Stockes) for 4 1/2 cents but could not get them. Fritz is not buying he says they are out of his reach. - Emma is expected home next week, will probable remain home this sumer. Annie and Luce [Work?] went to Neb 3 weeks ago Lucy is going to live with them 6 mos. From your Father &c SGF
