Blakesburg Iowa Nov 4 /84 Mr GS Finney your of the 25th ult Came to hand to day, We were really glad to hear from you, but sorry to hear of your misfortune in getting a fall, and trust you are well ere this. I saw Mr Trussell since he Came back, he told me about being at you place and takeing dinner &c he seemed to be much please with his Trip. Well Emma & Annie has returned home to stay all Winter, Annies health is very poor, she has one of the smartis little girls you ever saw. We get letters from Frank very often, he says he Cant Close out before next spring
