I now owe $425.00 that must be paid with in 60 days, and have no hogs to sell. I have a Carload of Steers 18 I offer them for 4 Cents but dont think I can get a buyer then besides have $150.00 tax to pay, it might be I could sell your note in Bank at a discount it is not secured by any mortgage, and will be due Jany 1st next. I have nothing on Interest to write, except we have had a very exciting Campaign all over the Country, but the Election to day settles it. Emma Commences her school two weeks from to day, in the Draper Districe, all in usual health from your Father &c SG Finney
