Blakesburg Iowa Jany 23 /85 Mr Geo S Finney yours of the 8th Inst has just been handed me on my return from Keokuk I have been from home nearly three weeks, this is the reason your letter has not been replyed to before now. you say you need money very much so I Concluded to send you check on Chicago for 100$ Now you ask me to say how much I want for the cattle, I will take one hundred dollars, just what you offerd for them last spring If that suits you, let me know and I will send you the Ballance,
