Blakesburg Iowa 12-6-85 Mr GS Finney your letter of the 7th Ulto came duly to hand. It has been a very busey time with us this fall. We are not quite done gathering corn, turns out better than we expected. I will not have any thing to sell this fall. Cattle is very low, indeed no one is buying, hogs got 3 cents, corn plenty at 25 c oats 25 c Well George I have bought a 40 of Land adjoining our timber 40 north of town, it Lays right south of the Frank Tinsley Place, the 40 I bought cost me 400$ it has some good timber on
