Blakesburg Iowa 1-27-89 Mr Geo S Finney As this is Sunday and haveing your very kind letter of the 22 before me must ans. or I may forget it. It contains a great deal of good advice. Still I cant get it out of my mind, when I look around me and see so much of his handy work, his property has all been sold off Horses, Cattle, hogs, grain, Wagon & all other things, it makes my heart ache to think about what has taken place, Every thing came so sudden & with such crushing weight, and it all addes to my increasing cares. I do try to bare up as well as I can. your Bro Eddy is still hear but will leave us to morrow for Cal. he expressed a wish to see you
