Blakesburg Ia 3-1-89 Mr Geo S Finney As this is the first day of March, and I cant do any thing else, well try and write you a letter. I have been quite unwell for the last 10 days. I am troubled with a pain in my head all the time & a generol weekness. I am trying to wear it out if I can. I am going on 71 years of age, my race will soon be run, and will try and be ready when the time comes. That boy Cox I kept him two mos. at $10 per mo. I could not put up with him any longer. - your letter of the 25 ult was duly recd. and read with interst glad to read your market report. We have a large surplus of feed in the country. I have been ofreing to see timothy hay for $2.50 a tun no one
