Blakesburg Iowa 12-1-89 Mr Geo. S Finney your letter of the 10th ult. came duly to hand, glad you had recd. recd. the Bbl of apples all right, you say you have been to Omaha with Cattle & hogs, saw old Timothy poor old fellow he damn near to get up any more. Mrs. Thorp sold the home 40 to Mr Bradly of CenterVill for 3000$ she gave timothy 1000$ and with the Bal. 80 acres north of Albia. I must tel you that old man David Burton died last sumer, I never saw the old man but he Enquird When did you hear from George? I always liked that boy, he is one of the best hands to drive Cattle I ever saw. quite an accident took place
