29 March 2 - 1936 Mrs Clara Wilson was hostess to the Cary Club March 2. Ten members answered to roll call. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. No business was reported. Program given by Mrs Leslie Phelps substituting for Mrs Alice Phelps who was unable to be present, "Life in a Norway Villiage" by Ada Bosworth in Nat Geographic was a most interesting account of the strenuous lives and labour of the Peasants on a little farm with many curious customs. Maine The Outpost Stale was also sketched. The settlement was founded primarially on the three prime products, -fish, fur and forest, many new and previously unknown facts were brought out, her potatoes and garden vegetables are noted for their superiority, and Maine holds her own unique place among the galaxy of Stales.
