The Cary Club held its annual Christmas party at the home of Mrs. A.E. Blinks Monday Dec 19th Dinner was served to fourteen at quartet tables decorated with Christmas berries and tinsel. Mrs Phelps, Mrs Seger and Mrs Blinks were in charge of the serving - After the dinner was partially settled the group was called to order and roll call was responded to with quotations from the pen of John Greenleaf Whittier. A bill of $1.70 was allowed Mrs Phelps to pay for chickens used for our dinner. An invitation was extended the club to call on Mr and Mrs [Waffle?], on the afternoon of Dec. 27th when they would be celebrating their Golden Wedding anniversary. It was voted by the club to send flowers for this occasion. The club also voted to send Christmas Greetings to our members unable to be with us, Mrs
