June 19, 1922 Board meeting of the Iowa League of Women Voters was called to order at 10-30 A.M. in the committee room of the Montrose Hotel - Cedar Rapids - June 19th, 1922. State chair-man Mrs. Florence Pierce presiding. Treasurer's report in absence of Mrs. Passig, read by secretary and accepted by the board. Mrs. Pierce gave a report concerning League organizations in counties. Ten counties are contributing to the State exchequer. Dr. Stuart moved that annual meeting be held during the last week in September. seconded - carried. Mrs. Mayer moved that: Whereas this Leage of Women Voters has certain definite objectives in policy and procedure - and - Where as - The State Conventions of all political parties will be held this year - where the party platforms will be written. We the Executive Board of the Iowa League of Women Voters by motion ask that the chair-man of the Iowa League of Women Voters appoint a committee to draw up and submit to the board for approval and finally present in proper form to the proper committee in each political party appropriate resolutions and urge their incorporation in these party platform. seconded - carried. Moved by Mrs. Rusti that a committee be appointed by the chair-man to prepare program for Annual Meeting 0 committee to include State chair-man. Seconded by Mrs. Tomlinson - carried.
