March 24th - 1923 Board Meeting. On Saturday at 3:30 o'clock the Executive Com. met in regular business session at the State Headquarters, 505 1/2 Shoppes Bldg. with the President Mrs Tomlinson presiding. The following members were present. Pres - Mrs I.H. Tomlinson. Des MOines. 2nd Vice " - Mrs Max Mayer. " at present. Treas. - Mrs Sadie Passig. Humbolt. Chr. of International Co-operation to Prevent War - Mrs Fred Hunter Des Moines. Sec - Mrs Clarence Knutson " at present. The President reported that she would like the approval of the Board upon the sending of a message in the form of a telegram with a greeting to the National office of the National League of Women Voters and the official announcement of the acceptance of the provisions of the Shepperd Towner Bill by the Iowa Legislature. The Secretary Mrs Knutson was named by the President Mrs Tomlinson to take charge of the "convention pep teas". With the approval of the Board, Mrs Tomlinson was asked to secure the large room near Headquarters during Convention time. Report of Treasurer read and accepted. Moved by Mrs Mayer, seconded by Mrs Hunter that the Treasurer's report be accepted and placed on file. Carried.
