Motion by Mrs Mayer that we pay $50. on the Bulletin expense account to the Homestead. Moved by Mrs Mayer, seconded by Mrs Hunter that - The minimum budget of $2000 for financing the National Convention for the L of W. Voters having been secured, the State Board in Executive session requests the finance Committee to continue their work, in view of the fact of the unforeseen expenditures to provide a contingency and emergency fun. Carried. Moved by Mrs Mayer that the League vote to send a check of $300. to Dr Dickey. Seconded by Mrs Passig. Carried. Mrs Hunter moved that Mrs Knutson be empowered to charge of Headquarters during convention Seconded and Carried. Mrs Tomlinson, State President named Mrs Knutson "Iowa Hostess". Mrs Knutson pledged $100. Meeting adjourned to meet at call of the President. Mrs Hazel Wood (Clarence A.) Knutson Rec. Sec. April 7 - 1923. Executive Com. met in regular business session at the State Hdq's, Mrs Tomlinson presiding. Members present, Mrs Tomlinson, Mrs Ruff Mrs Knutson, Mrs Ruste Mrs Hunter Miss Drake. The Pres. spoke of the purpose of the call - 1st giving out credentials & filling in places By virtue of their office the Chr. of State standing Com. the Pres. & 1st Vice Pres. the first $100. for the Pres & 1st V. Pres. and $50. for every Congressional District - by payment of this money these delegateships are allowed by the National. Moved by Mrs Hunter & seconded by Miss Drake that the Treasurer's report be accepted & placed on file Minutes of March 24th read & approved. Mrs Hazel Wood Knutson Rec. Sec.
