of the coming of Mrs Catt Dec 6.th - 1923. Motion prevailed to adjourn. Thursday P.M. The afternoon session was called to order by Mrs Max Mayer reporting that the first Vice President Mrs Oscar Ruff of Sioux City had been called east because of the serious illness of a relative. The first order of business was the report of the Treasurer reporting $350 with 29 counties working - 30 organized - Linn County raised 775.50; also Mrs Koch contributed $125, then $100. & part of the $775.50 The recording Secretary made her report and also Mrs Knutson gave a report of the National Convention held in Des Moines April 9-14 -1923. Miss Bess Fenton, chairman of Uniform Laws spoke on the 50-50 law and gave an opportunity for questions and a discussion. Miss Fenton said caucuses should be publicly announced and recommended a Resolution to watch the trend of events. Miss Anna Drake; chairman of Social Hygiene and represents the Health nursing in the State Board of Health. Miss Drake described the working of the Shephard - Towner Bill in operation. There are 4 teams of nurses in the State. The clinics can be obtained by an invitation from the Medical Society or group of people or through the County Farm Bureau Agent. Write to Dr. Edward Lauer, Extension Division, Iowa City for further information. Miss Drake advised to see that you have a clinic in your community. Miss Drake reported 88 still births in one month in Iowa according to Dr. Conklin of the Social Hygiene work. Miss Drake then answered questions
