farming. Mrs max Mayer gave a short talk on "Our Immediate Problems." Mrs W.W. Littell gave a report of the election. The Officers nominated were elected. Mrs I.A. Poterin reported for the Resolution Com. and moved the adoption of the following resolutions. Whereas, the Officers, Board of Directors and the delegates to the Fourth Annual Convention of the Iowa League of Women Voters do sincerely appreciate the sacrifices, the efforts and inspiration of our leaders and the co-operation of friends. Resolved, that a message of greeting with a copy of the Resolutions be sent to our national President, Mrs Maude Wood Park. Resolved, That the Iowa State League of Women Voters thank Mrs Tomlinson and Mrs Mayer for the monumental sacrifice and service they have given each and every member of the League dedicating herself anew to carrying out the purpose and work of the League. Resolved, That letter of appreciation be sent to Dr. Carrie Harvison Dickey thanking her for signal service as State Chairman for the Convention of the National League of Women Voters, and be it resolved that we record our appreciation of the splendid service of all chairman and members of committee who worked for and assured the success of this national convention.
