Board meeting Jan 15 - 1924. The Board of Directors of the I.L.of W.Voters met in regular session at the League Headquarters at 507 Shopps Bldg., Des Moines, Ia. The President Mrs Clark E. Daniels presided with the following members present, Mrs Clark E. Daniels - Pres. Mrs Max Mayer - 2nd V. ". Mrs Clarence Knutson - Recording Secretary. Mrs Fred Hunter - Chr. International Co-op to Prevent War. Mrs I.H. Tomlinson - State Organizer. Dean Anna Richardson. Chr Living Costs. Mrs Robert E. Jackson - Treasurer. The board of directors of the Iowa League of Women Voters will meet at 1 o'clock this afternoon at the league headquarters, 507 Shops building. This is the first board meeting since the new plan whereby meetings are to be held regularly the first and third Tuesdays of each month. The board will take up routine business at today's meeting at which Mrs. Clark Daniels will preside. Board members include Mrs. Clark E. Daniels, president; Dr. Zella White Stewart of Iowa City, first vice president; Mrs. Max Mayer, second vice president; Mrs. Sadie H. Passig of Humboldt, third vice president; Mrs. Florence H. Koch of Cedar Rapids, fourth vice president; Mrs. Clarence Knutson of Cedar lake, recording secretary; Mrs. Robert E. Jackson, treasurer; Mrs. i.H. Tomlinson, state organizer; Mrs Henry W. Spaulding, Grinnell, chairman of the child welfare committee; Miss Anna M. Drake, chairman of the social hygiene committee; Mrs. Carl Seashore of Iowa City, chairman of the committee on women in industry; Miss Lillian Leffert of the uniform laws committee; Mrs Max Mayer of the American citizenship committee; Dean Anna Richardson of Ames, living costs committee; Mrs. Ella McKim of Marshalltown, chairman of the committee on efficiency in government; Mrs Fred H. Hunter, chairman of the committee on international co-operation to prevent war. District directors recently appointed who are also board members are Mrs. A.R. Sale of Mason City, Dr. Margaret B. Mills of Ottumwa, Mrs F.W. Brownell of Winterset, Miss Mary Rathke of Glenwood, Mrs. M.J. Fitzpatrick of Fort Dodger, Mrs E.J. Stason of Sioux City.
