Minutes of March 6th 1925 at two o'clock at Headquarters 414 Frankel Bldg. Board met in executive session at the call of the President. Following members were present - President - Miss Anna Drake president - Vice Pres - Mrs Gordon Elliott. Sec Mrs Clarence Knutson - Treas Miss Bonnie Marshall - Ex Sec. Mrs Max Mayer and Mrs Fred Hunter - chairman of International Co-operation to Prevent War Committee. Moved by Mrs Hunter that we write to Miss Wells that we will appreciate the opportunity to have Mrs Parker as our guest and her half in our plan of work. Seconded by Mrs Elliott. Carried. Moved by Miss Marshall that we have a state convention and suggest the dates April 9th and 10th and that a call be sent out by the Sec. Motion seconded by Mrs. Hunter. Carried. Moved by Mrs Hunter that a convention committee be appointed by the chairman. Motion seconded by Miss Marshall. Carried. The President appointed the following committee: - Mrs Daniels, Mrs Hunter, Mrs Elliott, Mrs Million. Mrs Tomlinson and Ruth Rosenfield. Treasurer reported. Moved by Mrs Knutson that Miss Drake be empowered to send to Mrs Wolf for the balance in the organization fund. Motion seconded by Mrs Elliott. Carried. Moved by Mrs Mayer that the Board ask Dr Shambaugh if we might have a commonwealth conference on the Cause + Cure of War. Motion seconded by Mrs. Hunter. Carried. Mrs Hunter was asked to write the letter and also ask Dr Shambaugh to be on convention program. Delegates to National Convention April 16-22 were discussed. Moved by Mrs Meyer that Iowa pay off dues of $100 at the earliest possible moment. Motion seconded by Mrs Elliott - carried. With consent of the Board a special Finance Committee was named including Mrs Elliot, Mrs Daniels. Ruth Rosenfield. Also a World Court Ball was discussed and with consent of the Board. Miss Drake appointed Mrs Sterns. Mrs Harvey Ray to act as committee on arrangements. over to page 152.
