a very complete resume of the year's work was given by the President Miss Anna Drake in her "President's message." Short talks on the value of the League were given by Mrs Helen Lovell Million Mrs Daniels, Mrs Irvine, Dean Anne Richardson of Ames, Mrs. Hunter, Mrs Elliott, Miss Rosenfield and Mrs. Mayer. Convention adjourned for the Luncheon on the Cause and Cure of War with Mrs Fred Hunter presiding at the Luncheon (Mrs Clarence A) Hazelwood Knutson, Sec,'y. Following the luncheon program the convention delegates and guests reassembled in the convention Hall with Miss Drake President presiding. Mrs Mayer spoke on Economic Aspects of War, Mrs Hunter on International Cooperation to Prevent War. Mrs Helen Lovell Million on the Protocol of Geneva and Miss Ruth Rosenfield on the Machinery of the Conference at Washington. Moved by Dr Jella White Stewart that a resolution be sent to the Des MOines Register recommending their trial plan to confirm annual news to the second page and asked to continue the policy longer than one week to give the plan a fair trial. Motion seconded by Mrs McKean. Carried. Convention adjourned to meet Tuesday A. M. at 12 o'clock. Mrs Clarence Knutson, Sec'y.
