Board meeting - Nov. 5. 2(6/7). The Board of the Iowa League of Women Voters met in the Brown Hotel Des Moines, Friday Nov 5th at 10 o'clock. The following members were present. Pres Mrs. C. A. Knutsom Efficiency in Gov't Ch. Mrs. Max Mayer International Co-op to prevent War. Mrs. Hunter Public Welfare in Gov't Mrs. Ida B Wise Smith Living Costs - Dr. Elizabeth Hoyt Women in Industry - Mrs. Ellen M. Rourke Treasurer - Mrs. T. P. Walker Social Hygiene Dr. Mae Habenicht Mrs. Knutson appointed Mrs. Walker to act as secretary in the absence of Mrs. Sale Mrs. Hunter read the minutes of the first Legislative Council including the following points. (check mark) A motion was made by Mrs. Mayer to endorse the safe-guarding of the Primary Election Laws by Necessary change in absent voters laws " " regular " " " " calling A party caucus. No special measure coming up along educational lines
