Board meeting, Feb 7th '27 The Board of the Iowa League of Women voters met at the Brown Hotel at 10 o'clock Feb 5th with the following board members present Mrs. C. A. (illegible) Dr. (illegible), Mrs. Fred Hunter, Mrs. Lincoln, Mrs. Laurnspaugh, Mrs. Rourke, Mrs. Sale and our Regional (illegible) Mrs. J. R. Parker. A motion was made by Mrs. Lincoln that the Department and Public welfare committee chairman act as a legislative council to investigate and report to the Iowa State Board a program legislation for the year 1927. This committee shall report to the state board at one meeting and action shall be taken at the following Board meeting- not less than two weeks to elapse between the meeting to which the recommendation is submitted and the Board meeting at which the Board takes action second by Mrs. Hunter carried. A motion was made by Mrs. Hunter that a committee be appointed to make a tentative budget to be presented to the Board before the convention carried. Moved by Mrs. Hunter that each committee Ch. prepare a poster of the best literature to be posted in the convention room. Seconded by Mrs. Pourhe- carried. Moved by Mrs. Hunter and second by Mrs. Pourhe that Mrs.
