My stomach also has been on a rampage. ever since we were in Egypt and I had the little upset there, my stomach has refused to function properly. And now for about ten days I have had several hours of distress daily. What causes it, I do not know. The last few days I have imbibed at wine with each meal, hoping that it would stimulate my stomach and help with the digestive processes. Whether it helps or not remains to be seen but I do hope to obtain relief somehow. We have been gone from home for almost seven months. How time does fly. Our clothes are wrecks! We need a thorough dry cleaning inside and out. My hat is a sight! I tried my best to get a new hat in Greece but had to give it up for a bad job. The hats there looked frightful on me, so I went back with pleasure to my old one. But it must be replaced very soon - the lining is gone and a hole which increases in size every day is in the crown. Probably the Italian hats will become me better and then I can bedeck myself better for our five months in Europe. I had also hoped to catch up with my "literature" my description and impressions of these foreign
