books and they are very heavy. We shall need the room for picking up a new supply of books for the next three months. Tuesday morning This is a far as I got the other evening and since then various things have happened to prevent me writing. Yesterday we were out at the "Around the World" club - founded by Mr Kahn and I think, kept up by him still. It is next door to Mr Kahn's country home - and a beautiful country spot, lovely gardens all a bloom and pretty trees. Tomorrow we move out pack and baggage for the remainder of our sojourn here and I am very glad. We are right in the heart of Paris now and I hate it. Mr. Kahn was very nice. He is so enthusiastic so full of energy. Soon after he met us he said, "I expected to see someone much older. Why you are babies." He is really quite amusing and very entertaining. I am going to shop for a coat again this morning Wish me luck since I'll need it. Enough for now, shall write again in a week or two. Bob comes next with her birthday and the rest will have to wait until later Much love and kisses Van and Eve
