You might, if your still writting to Fred, tell him an old acquaintance would like for him to write. I haven't heard from anyone except Helen, you and my folks for the last eight months. Now, not that I don't appreciate getting your letters, not for a minute but you know how a fellow might want to hear from one of the gang once in awhile. I would have answered your last letter, but I lost your address right before we left Guadal Canal. I'm glad to hear you like your new position and I hope that someday I might be able to visit your sunday school class. There really isn't anything much I can write about where I'm at except that I'm enjoying myself and getting fat. Ha Ha
