U.S Naval Receiving Barracks Flushing Avenue Brooklyn New York Gyro School Hi Pal, Well here I am back in school, after finishing Electrical school at Minnesota, and taking four week of Amphibious Training they have me now in Gyrocompass school, I can't tell you any thing about the Gyro school, it is a restricted subject, I can tell you this much it is much harder the the school at Minneapolis, but it is very interesting, the compass has more parts than Iowa has towns, or it seems so. We have no duty only our school, we start school in the evening at 3:00 PM have six hours out at 10 PM with one hour out for chow. We have liberty every nite from 10 P.M. until the next morning till 11:00 A.M., off Saturday at 4 P.M until 11 A.M Monday. New York is not the same
