town, all the lights or out, none of the large signs at Times Square are burning, and the theatres light are one, so the big town is all dark. How is your work coming, have you got it under control. How do you like Waterloo? We had a five day leave starting the 22nd of Dec. That is the first leave I have had since joining the Navy. I was in St. Louis for Christmass, I had a very nice time. How was your Xmas! Very good I hope. Have you found that one and only person yet. Gee, Honey don't stay single as long as I have, it is no life for a grand girl like you. Take a tip from a guy that knows, say if I don't sign off you write and tell me to keep my nose out of other peoples business. So I'll say so long for now, hope to hear from you very soon, as we finish here the 30th of Dec. Your Pal, Edw.
