-4- Received letters from my folks in Arkansas and they told me they were fine. I have been sending them presents every week. I love them so that I really pamper them. My mother is really worried about me since I told her that I was slated to go overseas. I didn't want to tell her because I thought the shock would be too great for her to bear. Remember my mother is over 65 years old. But to my surprise she took it like a true soldier and told me to "Give those Japs over there holy hell." True to her advise I am going to do my utmost to carry out that order to the letter. I sound horrid but you do
