Each Sunday I have been going into Trinity Methodist church at Denver and enjoy the service a great deal. They do not have the class we have in a Director of Religion Education or Christian Education - but it is still a nice church. Last week, when I was going to school days, I was in to supper at Martha Alice Pond's apartment and heard - KXEL - one of their poor programs was being aired so I did not listen long. I should like to listen to Grace Church's program - but 11:00 is 10:00 here & I am on my way down town at that time. The radios we have in the barracks are of such sort that we receive Denver stations mostly. I have made some good connections here, such as the one above, and a fellow drafted at the same time I was is here at Fitzsimons in the detachment and lives in town. He and his brother and his wife - (Thats no good) Bill is the soldiers name. Bill - his wife and his brother have an apartment very close to down town and that is a good deal for me. You must keep the U of Life going as when I return I expect to have a most special welcome. This is just about all I have to write - Pardon the paper, as you see it is from a note book and the best I had today. I usually bring letter paper to class - but today of days I figured I would be busy. Say hello to Rev Marlin & Miss Shanon. I expect to write Rev Marlin soon. Sincerely Jim Eaton
