I've been trying to locate Independence. Is it in the vicinity of and parallel to Lafayette St.? And is the church off the small park opposite the Strand? Those are mostly guesses 'cause I never did go by streets in Waterloo. I destroy all letters after reading them so if I don't answer right away I sometimes get mixed up. My month's lapse wasn't intentional. Every so often we go out and spend a couple of nights with the chiggers and mosquitoes. The days out there aren't so bad but the hikes out and back are killers. Our long hikes are coming up. The 337th took a hike which killed five and caused over half the regiment to fall out. I think our training is more gradual and we should be better prepared. As always Harry P.S.. If I miss, write any way
