Saving...
We are of duty this afternoon because about thirteen of us were on guard duty from yesterday noon until six this morning. When you are on guard you have to walk your post for two hrs & rest four. When you are told to walk you do just that. My legs & feet are pretty stiff. I thought at first I would get out of any duties but they got me. All new men are required to do that or K. P. I was satisfied. We are getting to like army life a little better already. We spend our evenings at the P.X. or Post Exchange. It isn't like the Electric Park or Sumner but better than nothing.
