going to be here. I don't know if I will go or not. If I do I will think of you & Sumner & then probably wouldn't be able to dance anyway. If you think about me as much as I think about you I don't see how you can do any teaching. I don't think that anything the government will offer the whole year would take the place of just one night with you again. I didn't realize how lucky I was until I got in here. The way most of the fellows talk I don't think I'm alone in this world. It is possible to get weekend passes providing you are not on any detail. I think perhaps I might go to San Diego next Sunday. Hollywood isn't very far away either, so I might go there some weekend too. There is only one thing that I'm afraid of and that is that they might keep me there. Do you think there is any danger? If they do I will try & get a school for you out here if you aren't married by that time. You must be doing allright though because I haven't had any reports from Martin yet. You go ahead & have your fun but think about me once in a while, will you? It is hard to tell when I will see you again. Maybe in three months, maybe in a year, & maybe never but I'm living in hopes. Let come what may I will always remember you as the most wonderful girl I ever knew. Well I don't think I could say any more now that would be of any interest, so let me hear from you. You can write to me if you hear from me or not because if I spend to much for stamps, my 71 cents a day won't go far. "$21 a day once a month", that's it. I'll be thinking about you, so until that day goodby and good luck. Yours, Fred
