now and I'll have to try and make the best of it for the next year. I hope it ill only last that long but from everything I see around here I think my chances of ever getting back home are sort of slim. We spent last weeks in Jefferson Barracks and then they shipped us down here. Probably stay here for some time. Every direction you look all you can see is tents and more tents and men marching up the road from the trains. Put us in with the Iowa National Guard. The company I'm with is from Webster City. This whole section of the Camp is from Iowa but I don't know a one
