see back in the States in the good old days. One thing about this part of the world that is getting to seem more like it should is the length of the day. For awhile it wasn't getting dark in the evening until 12:30 or 1:00 but now it's getting dark by 9:00 o'clock. From one extreme to the other. Before long I suppose night will be setting in by 4:30 or 5:00. Did you even get the handkerchiefs that I sent? Took a long time for them to get started. If I could get anything over here without coupons I would be able to send lots. Guess we're supposed to get coupon issued to us but we never have. A couple of the fellows in our company have tried to get to take officers training. I sure would like to get the chance but there's no danger of them ever letting me do that.
