considering how things are. But hon what wouldn't I have given to spent those eight days with you. Guess I'll just have to dream. Say one thing that I wish you girls back home could see and that is these English girls, swell lookers dancing and having a big time with these American negroes in the dance halls in town. Had a show in our mess hall last night. Bill of Frie was the name I believe. Have a dance every Friday nite but I don't like it as the music is rotten. Guess the new song "Praise the Lord and Pass the Amm" is going over big back there. I've never heard it yet. We're away behind times on new music over here.
