about every other morning some one rocks me and I know what it is. I don't like to be awakened so rudely but old Jerry is persistent. We have a Chaplain for the Bn. Ours is a fellow from Tenn. He's a swell guy and very nice talker. I used to listen to him pretty regularly but lately he hasn't been able to be very near us. We've been on English rations for some time. Don't have any trouble on knowing what we are going to have to eat. Its always the same, corn beef, stew or rice. When they bring our mail out to us some of the fellows tell us about getting all the pan cakes, steak ects where they're at. We've be trying to get on of our company cooks & a stove here but
