I've been to a few of the towns around here. A couple of our fellows can speak this lingo and they really go over big. The people all crowd around them. People haven't got much. They seem to have some money but there is nothing for them to buy. What they eat they have to raise and it's clothes and bread that they seem to need. Once in awhile you run across one who can speak good English and a few who can understand a couple of words. If a person would really try it seems as if it would be much easier than French to learn.
