olives into olive oil. Some of the methods are sort of crude but they seem to get things accomplished. One sector in particular that we were in was really nice as far as scenery is concerned. The houses were made of stone and were painted white. The roof were rock and were shaped like an ice cream cone turned upside down. From higher ground looking down over the Country side and seeing hundreds of these houses scattered among the olive groves and the vineyards. Every now and then a cluster of house forming a town really looked lovely. Was hoping I could get a picture but it was cloudy and sort of raining that day and so no luck One thing that this Country has in common with the rest is the amount of rock. Still have the rock fences and all. The ground is so rocky that it's a job to try and drive tent stakes. I've taken a few snap shots recently and have been able to get some of them developed. We were able to get a few pictures taken in town but guess they are about out of material now. The ones I had taken didn't turn out any too well but guess you have to have a good subject before you can expect good pictures. Any way I'm enclosing a couple. I've picked up something else to send you
