Maureen O'Connor and the other Oct. 26. Was really glad to hear from you. There were the only letters that I've received the last couple of weeks. Guess our mail is getting screwed up again. I hope not because X mas package are starting to come through once in awhile now. I've got one from the folks. Did you have a nice time in Kansas City? I suppose there was lots going on there. It really would be nice to be some place for a few day where I could talk with my mouth with having to use my hands.I don't know any more of this language than I did the first day I came here. And i plan on leaving the same way. We really had a good dinner Thanksgiving. Plenty of turkey and every thing. Couldn't have asked for a better one. It was much better than we had last year. I find your letters very interesting even if you don;t think they are. Maybe one reason is that mail call is about the most important thing over here and we like to get mail regardless of what it is or who it is from but I'd rather have a letter from you than any one else I know. Wonder why! I haven't heard Bob Hope for months. I guess I'm about finished writing this evening so I'd better quit for now. Hope this finds you well and enjoying yourself. Love Clarence
