Sunday - 6/28/42 My dearest: I've just come back from mailing a letter to you - it's several hours until pick-up time but I hurried to mail it before I lost my courage for in it I told things I've never told anyone else. But I didn't begin to tell what I've wanted to say to you. As sort of a safety valve I'll write them here but whether or not you see them depends on your answer to my letter today.
