June, 1920 Sun. 13 Half box of berries in 2 days. Fair & warm, 91° So. Children's Day - girls and I out. Mon. 14 84° Cloudy, warm and pasty, after soaking rain in night. Cut grass morn. Abs. P.M. - Chautauqua begun. Tues. 15 Storm evg. Rainy morn, dark & sticky, but some some sunshine. 83° Office mostly; (C.H. in a.m.) Clara took 5 p.m. train for Chicago University. Letter from Clyde. Wed. 16 Rained all night and all day. N. in p.m. and 68° max. Office all day, and a while evg. Thurs. 17 Fair, N. 47 to 68° Trimming all a.m. Insurance Evg. weeding evg. Fri. 18 Fair, easterly & a little warmer [pasty?] Garden morn, hoeing &c, & mowed evg. abs. & ins. between. Sat. 19 Fair morn., calm. 71° max. Hoed & weeded morn. & mowed after dinner. [Thrusting?] rain
