Tues. 31 Fair, west, 76° Routine work; set 40 plants [Dunlap?] & B.W. after 4. Wed. 1 September. Partly cloudy, East, 75° Making annual church report. H. had off girls to supper. Thurs. 2 Fair, A.M.; East; partly cloudy; 72° Ins. mostly - evg also set 30 plants #999. Fri. 3 Partly cloudy; E. 50 to 70 set 20 more strawberry plants morn 999 everbearing. Getting a few berries each day from its old vines. Midway St. oiled. Sat. 4 Drizzly rain, S.E. 52° to 60° accounts etc.
