Mon. 11 Fair, 50 to 79°, var. N.W. NE to SE - Shucked Walnuts morn. church at evg. - C. & N. at concert by Great spkrs [storing? quartables?]. Harriet oiled floor, p.m.

Tues. 12 Warm night, with thunder shower. Fair - S.E. 76° Sent grapes to Clara, a.m. 7+ lbs. Church accts. mostly & evg.

Wed. 13 Warm night again & light shower more cloudy, S.W. 73° Burned brush morn. A little abs. work, Evg too. At Dem. meeting a while evg. C.R. Porter et al.

Thurs. 14 Another little th. shower Early morn. Cloudy, 71°S. Heavy thunder showers evg. Abstracting P.M.

Fri. 15 Rained about all night, & morn., & showers p.m. S. 66° max. Office most of time. H. & I at political speech by Miss [Beusms?] at C.H. evg.
