[Postmarked Sept 28, 1942] Sunday afternoon Dearest: Yesterday afternoon I wrote the enclosed special delivery note. I put it carefully in my pocket. And (is my face red!) then wore another coat out for the afternoon and evening. The next morning I found the letter there. It seemed as though I might as well add more and send it all at once this afternoon. Am I ashamed! I seem to be getting more like an absent-minded professor. x-----x-----x-----x-----x More anent that 100th issue. It would be due out on November 7. I bought a nice yellow-green paper for the cover. I
