March 7- 1877 My dear Son We received yours yesterday We were glad to here from you. That you got there Safe. We want you to write often and let us no how you are and if you improve anny we are very anxious for you to get some strength we have very storme weather here it snowed all night that night after you left and half next day we think you will be better situated there to keep from taking Cold than you could be here at lest hope so. are they doing any thing for you now and and do you have fever yet we want you to tell us just how you are
