cause to be paid to the said John Ronalds his Executors Administrators or assigns the sum of four hundred and fifty six and 25/100 Dollars with Interist at the rate of ten per cent per Anum on or before the twenty fifth day of August AD 1861 then this deed is also a certain promisary Note bearing even Date with these presents for the aforesaid sum of four hundred and fifty six and 25/100 Dollars given by the said A. R. P. Congregation of Harrison to the [voice?] John Ronalds payable on or before the twenty-fifth Day of August AD 1861 aforesaid with Interest at the rate of ten per cent per Anum shall both be void to all intents and purposes; otherwise shall remain absolute In testimony whereof the President of said A. R. P. Congregation of Harrison has hereunto set his hand and Seal this 25th day of May AD 1860 William Kennedy President Signed Sealed and Delivered in presence of George Hutchison State of Iowa} Louisa County} Personally appeared before the undersigned one of the Justices of the power in and for said County William Kennedy who is personally known to the undersigned and said to be president of the A.R.P. Congregation of Harrison and acknowledged that he Signed Sealed and Delivered the foregoing Mortgage Deed in behalf of the said A.R.P. Congregation of Harrison freely and voluntarily for the uses and purposes therein mentioned given under my hand this 25th day of May AD 1860 George Hutchison Justice of the Peace
