Muscatine, Oct 12th/63 Mr. J.B. McNiel, Dear Sir, I write you this evening to know if you have had an opertunity to sell the heifer I bought of you some time ago. If you have not I wish you would see what the butchers will give for her. And if they will give enough to pay you for your trouble and send me the ballance, the amount to be not less than $5.00, five dollars let them have her.
