Express Company to the care of Joseph Hamill No 125 North Second Street St Louis Mo. and I will send you your note - you will please collect the balance of the (?) rent from Mr Hasford - and pay my tax - I want the tax paid before the year ends - I would like for you to attend to it, if Hasford is still on the place and is going to continue on it, but if Charles Fath is going on the place he is to pay the tax. We are all well - If I were not engaged in building I would be with you before you get this - Collect all you can on the congregational debt - It is still dry and frosty here - Hoping to hear from you soon I remain yours - R. N. Fee N.B. If you send money by express send a letter to me informing me of it - If you should have an opportunity of getting a check you can send it by mail as you have done -
