Monday, Feb 20, 1888 Cold & windy, with some snow in air all A.M., but some sunshine P.M. Our folks up early & Rosa had washing mostly out of way A.M. & ironing piece or two (for Sperry, think) last P.M. Geo home most of eve, Sperry with friend spent part eve in his room & he in to see R- & Geo-. Rather better self tho' realized some nervousness. spending day in chamber much as usual. Tuesday 21 Not as cold & quite pleasant. All as well with our folks, & busy at usual duties. R- at ironing most A.M. but with Boys out good part P.M. Sperry in chamber "packing out" first P.M. & at door to bid them "good bye" while we were at supper. Quite as well self, spending day much same, with perhaps more repairing for change. Asking for material to make net caused some talk A.M. & of course I was gently reminded of inability
