On the 13 of April Grants forces had left Milikens bend and marching through swamps and wading baouys and building corduroy roads for Artillery & wagons performed a feet in moving an army that the confederats never dreamed of.  
And on the morning of the 29" of April Grants Army made its appearence at Hard-times a landing.
